Thoughts on Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Not too long ago CBS released a trailer for the new series "Supergirl" and CW released a trailer for their new Mini-Series "Legends of Tomorrow".
I saw the trailers back to back, and now I'm here to give my honest opinion on both.

This trailer received has received mixed reviews. Some saying it looks terrible, others saying it looks great...
Me? I really like it. I think it looks like a fun show.
This show (at least from the trailer) looks like it has a MUCH bigger budget than Arrow and Flash. It feels a bit more like Flash, and I think that's a good thing.

Supergirl as a character has never really had a distinct personality.
Her personality and traits are dependent on who's writing for her, so this is a great opportunity for CBS to define the character.

I really hope that this show crosses over with Arrow/Flash.
Even if we don't get to see Superman, at least we'll know he exists in this Universe.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow:

This show looks like it'll be a lot of fun.
Riphunter (a time travelling superhero) gathered a bunch of Heroes and Villains to fight a much bigger threat... The Immortal Vandal Savage.
Arthur Darvil is playing Riphunter, Arthur also played Rory Williams on Doctor Who.
Arthur went from playing one of The Doctor's Companions, to practically being The Doctor.

I am beyond excited for this Mini Series.
It looks like it's bringing the fun and out of this world nature that Batman v. Superman seems to be leaving out in favor of the "Dark and Grittiness"

This may not be a Justice League show, but this might be the closest we get.
