Spider-Man coming to Marvel's Cinematic Universe

Last night it was announced that everyone's favorite web-head would be coming to Marvel's Cinematic Universe.

Sony Pictures and Disney have came to an agreement that would allow Spider-Man to be a part of Marvel's universe.

Under the deal, the new Spider-Man will first appear in a Marvel film from Marvel's Cinematic Universe. It could be Avengers 2 as a tease, it could be Captain America 3: Civil War.

Sony Pictures will thereafter release the next installment of the Spider-Man franchise, on July 28, 2017,
Sony and Marvel studios will be working together to make this movie, with Sony having final creative control.

This is great news for comic fans, and movie fans alike.

For YEARS I've been hoping to see Spider-Man that Sony would sell Disney/Marvel the rights back to Spider-Man just so we can see him in the Avengers.

It's so far unclear whether or not Andrew Garfield will reprise his role of Spider-Man, but it's very likely that it will once again be rebooted.

Another reboot is a small price to pay.
Sorry, Andrew.

With Spidey coming to Marvel's Cinematic Universe, their release dates have been shifted.
Captain America: Civil War – May 6, 2016
Doctor Strange – November 4, 2016
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 – May 5, 2017
Spider-Man – July 28, 2017
Thor: Ragnarok – November 3, 2017
Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 – May 4, 2018
Black Panther – July 6, 2018
Captain Marvel – November 2, 2018
Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 – May 3, 2019
Inhumans – July 12, 2019
I'm excited.
Hopefully Fox learns to play nice too.

A.T.O.M. Suit Revealed.

Ever since Brandon Routh joined the cast of Arrow as Ray Palmer, I've been patiently waiting for him to make his debut as The Atom.
I always wondered if he'd ever suit up, or if he was just another supporting character...

And I'm happy to say that we'll soon be welcoming a new hero to the Arrowverse.

CW revealed the first photo of Ray Palmer in his A.T.O.M. Suit which is set to debut in the 315th Episode of Arrow called "Nanda Parbat" (airing February 25, 2015)

I'm looking forward to seeing The A.T.O.M. make his debut, but I have a few thoughts on his suit...

Personally, I think it kinda looks like a cross between the Tony Star's Iron Man Suit, and the suits... from Tron Legacy.... mainly with the helmet.

Which is definitely NOT a bad thing, but my mind couldn't help making the comparison.

I just wish he would've followed the example made by The Arrow, and The Flash and wore a mask underneath the visor...
It isn't too late, and he'll probably end up wearing one down the line.
Just a minor nit pick.
Other than that I really like the suit.

Ray is also set to crossover to the 18th Episode of the Flash.
Reportedly to get help furthering the technology of the  from S.T.A.R. Labs.

I'm looking forward to seeing him interact with the staff at S.T.A.R. Labs.

I'll continue watching, maybe DC/CW will give us Green Lantern...

A nerd can dream.
