Week 28: Survival (The Vlog Projects)

Where we break down what roles each of us would play in a zombie apocalypse.

The Roles: Here are the roles! I've added a description with each:

The Leader: They are in charge and reliable, you look to them when you're in trouble. They are kind and responsible, but also does what needs to be done. The Leader has a good amount of influence and is good at handling issues-whether they be an issue between group members, zombies, or other (outside) people. Despite their influence, they consider themselves a member of a group as opposed to a leader. They often consider every group member and ensure the best for each person.

The Medic: The doctor-figure of the group. This person takes care of you when injured, the doctor-type. Very responsible, smart, and trustworthy. The medic isn't a top marksman, but they would do anything they could to keep you alive-even if it means an emergency supply run or amputee.

The Marksman: Defensive/Tough/Hotshot/Survival "Daryl" character. Shoots first, asks questions never. This guy is incredibly tough, and amazingly badass. Probably a loner before the zombies came, they may bump heads with some of the group members at times. Despite their short temper, they sometimes act as the leader's right hand person, along with the Advisor. This is the person you'll trust to keep watch when you break down and need to rest.

The Adviser: They're the moral center of the group. They help you find your way when you're lost. Another aid to the leader, this person will often give advice on how to go around a difficult situation (taking in new survivors, how to handle a group member if they're bitten.) Usually an older character, this person is righteous and unafraid to tell you what they think.

The Bandit: This person is enjoying the apocalypse a bit too much. Most likely a small time criminal before the zombies, this person went a little overboard. They're most likely to steal and pillage. A bit on the chaotic side, but good to fight with when you need them-Just don't let them too close to your ammo or food stashes.

The Authoritarian: Has all of the power and ability to be a leader, but is far too ruthless when provoked. When put in the position of leader, the Authoritarian can become a very harsh and cold ruler if they feel they need to. They does exactly what they thinks is best, even if it means killing a couple of group members. While this character is just as powerful as the Leader, watch your back around them.

The Hunter-Gatherer: This is the one who is the best for supply runs. They're fast on their feet, good with a small gun/knife, and know their way around. They are fast thinkers who always have a plan B in case something goes wrong on a run. The H-G is often good at hunting and different kinds of knots. The H-G is an incredibly important member of the group-if you don't have them, you might not have food or medical supplies.
